How payouts work
Clear money, no chasing. Here is exactly what happens from the moment a homeowner pays to the moment it lands in your account.
Homeowner pays Homie
The full amount including the 3% service fee is collected when the booking is confirmed.
Money is held
It sits with Homie, not with you, while the job is in progress. Neither side can run off with it.
You complete the job
Add after photos in the app and mark the job complete. The homeowner is asked to confirm.
Payout releases
On confirmation, or automatically 48 hours after completion, the payout goes to your bank account.
What you receive
The full service price plus any call-out fee you set. The 3% service fee is charged to the homeowner on top, so it is never taken out of your earnings.
If there is a problem
A homeowner can report a problem before the payout releases. When that happens we review the booking, photos and chat with both sides, and hold the money until it is settled. Tracking everything in the app is what keeps you protected.
